InvictDetect™ImmunoStrip®Red Fire Ant Test Strip


InvictDetect™ImmunoStrip®The RIFA red fire ant detection strip can identify imported red fire ants by detecting Soli2 protein. Red fire ants cause billions of dollars in losses to agriculture every year. More importantly, it poses a safety risk to the health of humans and animals. InvictDetectTM had a 100 percent specificity for the soli2 protein found in RIFA venom. The test strip is simple to operate and results can be obtained within 10 minutes. The test strip is suitable for testing mixed samples containing five (5) worker ants and cannot be used to test individual ants.

ImmunoStrip®Xanthomonas campestris (Xanthomonas hortorum pv. Pelargonii,Xhp) test strips were used to detect the presence of Xanthomonas campestris, the causative agent of bacterial wilt disease of geranium, in geranium and bacterial cultures. Twenty-seven species of the genus Xanthomonas are known to cause plant diseases and are capable of infecting 400 different plant species.

The citrus canker test strip can detect the Asian strain of citrus canker (strain A) and cannot detect strain A *, strain Aw (Wellington), or type A serum.
