For sterile packaged products, ultra-high temperature sterilization(UHT) beverages and ESL products, microbial contamination is inevitable, the use of traditional microbial detection methods take a week or even longer to get results, easy to cause product retention in the warehouse, not only reduces the production efficiency, but also extends the production cycle. Compared with traditional microbial detection methods, ATP (adenosine triphosphate) bioluminescence detection method is faster and more accurate, and has become a widely used rapid detection method for UHT and ESL high acid and low acid products. The Baotai Charm EPIC ATP fluorescence detection system can shorten the detection time of most products to 24-72 hours.
The EPIC detection system determines the commercial sterility of a product by detecting the presence or absence of ATP. The detection process is very simple: the sample to be tested is directly incubated in the original package without unpacking and sampling; After incubation for 24-72 hours, add the sample to the microplate, put the microplate into the EPIC system, and the EPIC system will automatically run the process of reagent addition, incubation and reading analysis.
