The Po Tai Charm Peel Plate Yeast (Peel Plate YM) test piece is a simple culture method that can be used to detect fungi. Each test strip contains a thin layer of culture medium with an upper layer of adhesive. The sample is quickly dripped into the center of the test strip and the sample spreads throughout the medium under capillary action without the need for a diffusion device. Turn over the test piece and culture it (20 test pieces can be stacked). Peel Plate Mold Yeast Test Pieces are based on Potato Dextrose Agar with blue/green colonies of mold yeasts. Since there is a gap between the detection sheet and the cover sheet, the colonies can be picked for further isolation and identification.
