Most IgM is obtained from colostrum during the first 16 hours of life, providing protection for cattle. After 30 to 80 days, the cattle begin to self-produce sufficient quantities of IgM. EvergreenTREATM bovine IgM kit can quantitatively detect natural active bovine IgM in milk and milk powder, which is rapid, sensitive and reliable. The kit contains all the reagents required for the ELISA reaction. The kit is sufficient for 96 tests (including standards). detection principle of this kit is the use of double anti sandwich enzyme linked immunosorbent assay method for detection. The anti-bovine bIgM antibody is coated in the microplate. After addition of the bovine bIgM standard or sample, the free bovine bIgM binds to the pre-coated anti-bovine bIgM antibody on the microplate and unbound proteins and molecules are removed in a first washing step.
