ImmunoStrip®Tobacco ring spot virus (Tobacco ringspot virus,TRSV) test strips are used to detect the presence of tobacco ring spot virus in a wide range of ornamental plants, fruits, vegetables and field crops. Tobacco ringspot virus is a member of the genus Vermicomavirus, known for its transmission by nematodes. According to the European and Mediterranean Plant Protection Organization (EPPO), tobacco ringspot virus can be transmitted mechanically and by at least one nematode and a variety of insects. In addition, it can be spread in several plants by seeds.
