Amnestic shellfish toxin (ASP) test
The amnestic shellfish toxin (ASP)ELISA kit is a rapid and sensitive assay for domoic acid in the marine environment. Detection principle The kit uses enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay to detect domoic acid in samples. The microplate is coated with domoic acid-protein conjugate, the domoic acid in the standard or sample competes with the domoic acid-protein conjugate for the binding site in the anti-domoic acid enzyme label, and the remaining enzyme label is removed in a washing step. Then the substrate reagent is added to react with the anti-domoic acid enzyme label, so that the solution turns blue. After adding the stop solution, the solution turns from blue to yellow. The concentration of domoic acid in the sample can be obtained by measuring the absorbance at 450nm and comparing the absorbance of the unknown sample with the absorbance of the standard. The absorbance value is negatively correlated with the concentration of domoic acid in the sample.
