Product Description
ImmunoStrip®Bacterial wilt (Ralstonia solanacearum,Rs) test strips were used to detect the presence of Ralstonia solanacearum, the causative agent of bacterial wilt, banana bacterial wilt and potato brown rot, in tissues of ornamental crops and vegetables, as well as in bacterial cultures. The test strip detects all species and variants of Ralstonia solanacearum, including USDA PPQ Select,Race 3 biovar 2. Pathogenic bacteria are common in root, tuber, stem and petiole tissues. Leaf tissue can also be tested.
The bacterial wilt test strip is a rapid test tool recommend in the U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) recovery program for Ralstonia solanacearum (Ralstonia solanacearum Race 3, Biovar 2). Further confirmatory testing is required to determine the species and variant of the positive sample.
