Maize dwarf mosaic virus test strip
ImmunoStrip®Maize dwarf mosaic virus (MDMV) test strips are used to detect the presence of maize dwarf mosaic virus in maize and other grass crops. Maize dwarf mosaic virus is a potato virus that naturally infects grasses, such as corn, sorghum and stone grass. It is transmitted in a non-persistent manner through maize seeds and a variety of aphids. Symptoms include mottling or mottling, usually near the base of young leaves, which may become yellowing in hot weather. Severe infections can lead to stunted growth and poor seed quality.
