Plum pox virus test strip
ImmunoStrip®Plum pox virus (PPV) test strips were used to detect the presence of plum pox virus in riparian crops. Plum pox virus (Shaka disease) is an aphid-borne poxvirus that can cause significant losses in stone fruit (peaches, plums, cherries, etc.) yield and marketability. Plum pox virus is found all over the world and is particularly important in Europe and other Mediterranean regions. Testing for plum poxvirus was confirmed in the United States and Canada in the late 1990 s and early 2000 s, prompting large-scale testing and eradication programs due to the severity of the disease.

GEB4 extraction buffer for plum pox virus test strips and Agdia plum pox virus ELISA kit (USDA approved PPV detection method) and AmplifyRP®The same extraction buffer was used in the DNA / RNA detection platform. Therefore, Using ELISA method and AmplifyRP®The DNA / RNA method was confirmed without repreparing the sample.
