Evergreen Bovine Ig M ELISA Kit

Bovine IgM(bIgM) is found in serum, colostrum and cow milk. IgM plays an important role in the primary immune response, complement fixation, and is a serum agglutinating antibody. Most IgM is obtained from colostrum during the first 16 hours of life, providing protection for cattle. After 30 to 80 days, the cattle begin to self-produce sufficient quantities of IgM. EvergreenTREATM bovine IgM kit can quantitatively detect natural active bovine IgM in milk and milk powder, which is rapid, sensitive and reliable. The kit contains all the reagents required for the ELISA reaction. The kit is sufficient for 96 tests (including standards). detection principle of this kit is the use of double anti sandwich enzyme linked immunosorbent assay method for detection. The anti-bovine bIgM antibody is coated in the microplate. After addition of the bovine bIgM standard or sample, the free bovine bIgM binds to the pre-coated anti-bovine bIgM antibody on the microplate and unbound proteins and molecules are removed in a first washing step. Subsequently, horseradish peroxidase-labeled bovine bIgM antibody is added, the captured bovine bIgM is then combined with the enzyme-labeled bovine bIgM antibody, and the unbound horseradish peroxidase label is washed. With TMB substrate color, after adding acidic stop liquid color from blue to yellow, with a microplate reader at 450nm wavelength to determine the absorbance value, absorbance value and the content of bovine bIgM in the sample is proportional. The test results can be obtained by comparing the absorbance value of the sample with the absorbance value of the standard provided by the kit.
